A work hours calculator with breaks
Enter one start and end time for each day you worked. Leave unused days blank. The free time card calculator deducts only the unpaid break you enter, with no automatic lunch deduction.
For an overnight shift, an earlier end time selects Ends next day. Equal start and end times count as zero unless you select the next day, which counts 24 hours.
Daily net = end − start + next-day hours − break
Weekly total = sum of exact daily net seconds
Decimal hours = weekly seconds ÷ 3600
Weekly time card: an example
Five shifts, one total
Four days of 7 hours 45 minutes and one day of 7 hours 30 minutes total 38 hours 30 minutes. The weekly result is 38.5 decimal hours.
Daily decimal displays are rounded for readability. This timesheet calculator adds exact seconds first, so displayed daily decimals are not used as the source of the weekly total.
Check every started day
A day with only a start or end is marked Incomplete. Finish it or clear the day before copying, printing or exporting. A partial total is labeled and cannot be exported as a complete card.
The week starting date is a label for your record. It does not change clock arithmetic.
Copy, print or export your hours
Copy a complete card as text, download a CSV, or choose Print / Save as PDF to use your browser's print dialog. The printed sheet includes daily and weekly hours and the calculation rules.
This time clock calculator totals entered records. It does not clock employees in or calculate pay, overtime or payroll rules.
Remember only when you choose
Remember this time card on this device is off by default. If enabled, only the last card is stored in this browser and expires seven days after its last edit. Clear saved card removes that saved copy.
No account is needed. Keep your own copy of important records and avoid saving on shared computers.
